Katja Baumeister-Frenzel studied Cultural Science and European Ethnology and Aesthetics at the Humboldt University of Berlin. She has lectured on the topic of ‘1920s Berlin’ to international students attending Potsdam University in Brandenburg.
Operating freelance as ‚KulturGut’ KulturGut initiates and supports projects that make the past visible, tangible and relatable, therein creating new spaces for shared cultural and social experiences.
She is a certified project manager and has many years of experience in the 5-star hotel and tourism industry in Germany and the USA.

Michael has been involved in both publication and exhibition projects concerning Berlin’s cultural history for over 30 years. Author of numerous books about Berlin, including “Die Zwanziger Jahre in Berlin. Ein Wegweiser durch die Stadt” (with Elke Linda Buchholz), as well as “Kästners Berlin”, “Döblins Berlin”, “Brechts Berlin” and “Das kunstseidene Berlin” in the “Literarische Schauplätze” series. After working at the Berlinische Galerie (head of event and exhibition technics) and the Akademie der Künste (event technics), he now works as a technical planner for events at the Potsdam Sanssouci Music Festival. In 2019, he also became a specialized technical planner for preventive fire security (EIPOS) and offers his services in connection with exhibition projects and events.

Carsten operates as a freelance art director. He specializes in concept development and the design of print media, digital media, corporate architecture and exhibition design.
A focal point in carsten’s work is the design of corporate identity. His unique approach links all communicative elements of a project through an interconnected and recognizable visual identity.
As art director of the “Romanische Café” project, he is responsible for the design of the exhibition as well as graphic and web design.
